NSAA Safety Month, hosted by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA), is dedicated to promoting safety and responsibility on the slopes. As part of this initiative, we’re highlighting the importance of the "Know the Code," a set of guidelines for safe skiing and riding. This year, we’re celebrating with a variety of fun and informative events, including Toboggan Rides and a Lift Evac Demo with Ski Patrol, a Lift Safety Session with our Lift Operators, and a Park Smart Pop-Up with our Parks Crew. These activities offer guests the chance to meet our expert teams and learn about mountain safety in an engaging way. Don’t forget to join our Blizzard Bingo challenge for a chance to win prizes! Our continued commitment to safety has earned us multiple NSAA safety awards, and we’re proud to offer these exciting opportunities to ensure everyone stays safe while having fun on the mountain.

S’more safety please! January is ski and ride safety month so we’re inviting you to make s’mores and meet our friend Chauncy from the Snow Angel Foundation. The outdoor firepit at the Top of Chair 1 will be the hub for chats about safety and all things skiing and riding while you roast marshmallows. Learn about the importance of safety on the slopes and the impactful story behind the Snow Angel Foundation, whose mission is to prevent ski and snowboard collisions so we can all “ride another day.”
Ride Another Day: Chauncy Johnson Meet-Up in the K-1 Base Lodge from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Experience an inspiring evening as Chauncy shares his passion for snow sports, safety, and the mission of the Ride Another Day campaign. Admission is free and open to all.

Watch a live demonstration of lift evacuation procedures and learn how our patrol keeps you safe on the slopes.
