Join us at the K-1 Base Lodge for a New Year's Eve celebration unlike any other! Inside the lodge, we'll have family-friendly activities including arts & crafts and live music. Outside, we'll have all the ingredients to make your own s'mores over a fire pit (while supplies last!), plus a fireworks show, a groomer parade & more, all for free.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Mount Snow Main Base Area with annual torchlight parade and fireworks! Watch our Ski & Ride School and Development Program instructors ski and ride down the Canyon trail in a torchlight glow! As the parade reaches the bottom, the night sky will be illuminated with a fireworks display!
Torchlight parade begins approximately 6PM, with fireworks to follow directly after. The best viewing is between the Clocktower and Cape House.
Before the parade, check out live music by Bruce Jacques from 3 - 6 PM in Cuzzins, and afterward, head to Snow Barn to ring in the new year with Neon Wave, New England’s number one New Wave Band, from 9 PM to midnight.
Help us ring in 2024 with a night of music, dancing, and fireworks! Northstar Fireworks will kick off the night with an on-mountain fireworks display* on Tramside. Keep your eyes peeled up the mountain around 7:00PM; warning shot at 6:50 PM.
After the fireworks, head to the Foeger Ballroom for Zach Nugent’s Dead Set, an all-ages music event featuring a fresh take on Grateful Dead classics. The concert runs through the ball drop and is sure to get you moving. Don’t forget to enjoy savory New Year’s Eve dining across all Jay’s venues and be sure to call ahead or check wait times!

Join the fun at Bolton Valley Resort! After a day of skiing and riding stay for the Torchlight parade and family-friendly fireworks at the main base area at 7:30pm! The Bolton community had so much fun doing fireworks early last year, they’re conditioning the tradition so all local families can join in the excitement.
Don’t forget about dinner at the James Moore Tavern and stay for entertainment in the Fireside Room for entertainment from 9pm to midnight.

Celebrate the coming new year with a day of family-friendly activities and celebration at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Part of Smuggs’ Holiday Magic event, this New Year’s celebration is the perfect spot to celebrate with family and friends—from bonfire to balldrop.
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm — Glow Tubing Glow Tubing is incredibly unique and fun for all ages! Get outdoors and enjoy this family-friendly atmosphere on Sir Henry’s Hill. A super fun and incredibly unique event for you to experience. Glow down the tubing hill lanes as an array of LED lights line and illuminate the Snow Tubing hill. No ski boots, please. A SmuggsPass or Daycation ticket is required. Riders must be 42″ tall and be able to stop themselves.
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm — Friendly Pirate Party Join the Friendly Pirate in the lower level of the Meeting House for singing and dancing! This activity replaces the Science Show.
9:00 pm — New Year’s Celebration Bonfire & Fireworks Gather with family and friends at the Gazebo and celebrate! Hosted by Jammin’ Sam.
9:30 pm – 10:30 pm — Musical Time Machine Fun for the whole family with party favors in the lower level of the Meeting House.
10:30 pm – 12:00 midnight — Adult Karaoke Sing your way into 2025 at Bootleggers’ Lounge. 21 & older.
Join Stratton on New Years Eve and ring in 2025 at your mountain home. Fireworks are planned to hit the sky at 9PM and last for an approximate duration of 30 minutes. This is a memorable way to take send off 2024 and welcome in 2025 in the Green Mountains. Gather the group and join in on an experience you will never forget!
