Mount Snow has been one of the most accessible major ski resorts in the East since Walter Schoenknecht founded it in 1954, and its location in southern Vermont still makes it the shortest drive from New York, Boston, and most of the Northeast's metro areas to real big-mountain skiing and riding. It's one of three Vermont ski areas on the Epic Pass, alongside Okemo and Stowe.
The mountain has invested heavily in snowmaking over the years, building out what is widely regarded as the most powerful snowmaking system in the Northeast, with high-output fan guns, low-energy snow guns, and a 120-million-gallon snowmaking pond that keeps the skiing consistent through variable New England conditions. A modern lift fleet, including multiple six-passenger high-speed chairs, keeps skier and rider density manageable across the mountain's terrain.
Slopeside lodging centers on the Grand Summit Resort Hotel, a full-service property with guest rooms, condo units, a spa, heated outdoor pool, and dining. Additional lodging is available throughout the Mount Snow Valley at a range of inns, B&Bs, and hotels.
The mountain runs year-round. Summer brings an 18-hole golf course, downhill mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides. The events calendar stretches across all four seasons, with highlights including Reggaefest in March, a fall Brewer's Festival and Oktoberfest, and terrain park competitions at Carinthia throughout the winter.

Upstairs in the Summit Lodge, you’ll find The Bullwheel - a rustic tavern donning a new look and completely new feel. During the summer months, you will find some of the finest New England beers on tap, as well as artfully crafted sandwiches and snacks. With the observation deck just outside the door, The Bullwheel truly offers lunch with a view. Every Saturday beginning July 4, we'll have live music playing outside on the observation deck (weather permitting, of course). Located conveniently on the ground floor of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel, the Harriman’s Farm to Table menu features exciting creations using as many fresh, local products as possible to truly bring you a genuine farm-to-table experience in a casual fine dining atmosphere. The entire family will savor the diverse offerings that range from fresh seafood and fine cuts of beef to flavorful pasta dishes and traditional favorites as well as a children’s menu. Enjoy a specialty martini or a local draft beer at the bar where live music is played on Friday and Saturday nights in the winter. Harriman’s Farm to Table is open daily for cocktails, pub food and dinner. Breakfast is served on the weekends and holidays.
Open daily for breakfast and lunch the Grand Country Deli is located on the ground floor of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel. Get your day started with a breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito or a heaping plate of eggs, home fries, bacon and toast. Lunch selections include made-to-order specialty sandwiches and wraps, a large variety of salads and daily hot specials. You can even get a box lunch to-go! The store also offers a wide selection of domestic and micro-brew beers, a wine collection, chocolates, snacks and Vermont specialty items.

Located at the Mount Snow Golf Club, Fairways has the largest outdoor dining space in the valley. Enjoy our quality food and casual atmosphere while taking in the gorgeous view of Mount Snow and surrounding mountains.
Mount Snow's newest legendary après location features a wide selection of craft beers and ciders from all over Vermont. Unlike other bars and restaurants at Mount Snow, Canned serves only beer and ciders produced in Vermont that are distributed in cans, hence the name. You can also enjoy a selection of food options that complement the canned fare, including salty Bavarian pretzel sticks with beer cheese, and sweet pretzels with cinnamon and maple dipping sauce, as well as daily specials.
Kick back and enjoy après at the Zero Gravity Beer Garden. Located on the deck of Cuzzins, offerings include polish sausage, bratwurst, giant pretzels, molten brownies, and the finest Zero Gravity brews! Grab some food and a cold Zero Gravity beer and relax by the fire.
Iron Loft is a full-service restaurant located on the top floor of the Carinthia Base Lodge with a great view of the action going down in the terrain parks. Iron Loft offers an elevated dining experience and hand-crafted cocktails using fresh, local ingredients in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Located on the shore of Snow Lake at the junction of the South Access Road and Handle Road, Snow Barn serves the best pizza in the Valley Thursday – Sunday and every day during holiday weeks! It’s also the hot spot for après ski and late-night entertainment with live performances from popular musicians every weekend. In the past few years, the Snow Barn stage has been graced by the likes of Tim Reynolds, Rusted Root, Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Ton Loc.
Ooh, it is soo good. With a menu full of mouth-watering burgers, specialty sandwiches, gourmet griddled cheeses and thick milkshakes you’re in for a treat. Wash it all down with one of the vintage American beers we have on tap and you’ve got yourself a meal. Take Out and Delivery to Mount Snow hotels is also offered!

Mention Cuzzins to any Mount Snow regular and they will tell you it’s also home to one of the most legendary après ski scenes on the planet! The full bar offers a great selection of microbrews on tap as well as specialty cocktails to warm you up. Fantastic live music on weekends and during holiday weeks will get your feet stomping and fists pumping to the beat. Located in the Main Base Lodge.
High Timber Café is Carinthia’s open-concept food court with offerings that include traditional favorites, ramen noodles, grilled cheese, and salad or grain bowls. The Ramen Bowls are a must-try!
After a full renovation, what was “Marketplace” inside the Main Base Lodge is now Market Fresh Café featuring grab and go breakfast and lunch items focused on local, fresh and healthy foods. Selections include sandwiches and wraps, flame-broiled burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fries, chili, soups, chowder, baked goods, desserts and daily specials plus a full salad bar. The griddle is always sizzling during breakfast with fresh-made egg sandwiches, bacon, sausage, French toast, hot and cold cereals, bagels, muffins and yogurt. Beer lovers rejoice! Station Tap Room features more than 20 rotating taps pouring delicious micro and craft brews from near and far and you can also enjoy New York style deli selections from our sandwich bar. We are also very lucky to have two EXLUSIVE beers on tap; one from Harpoon Brewing Company and the other from nearby Northshire Brewery. Open daily with weekly live entertainment.

Whether you ski into the Main Base Area or Carinthia, there is always that familiar, mouth-watering aroma coming from the little log cabin that is almost impossible to resist! Owners Ingrid Heyrman and Peter Creyf make their sugar waffles from flour, butter, eggs, milk and a special sugar imported from Belgium. Naturally sweet and served hot. The Main Base Lodge’s best pizza can be found at Tony’s! With huge slices of hand-tossed, freshly made pizza topped with ample portions of everything from meat and veggies to their famous pesto-artichoke special, Tony’s is a great spot to grab a quick bite before heading back out to the snow.
