Bolton Valley's New Leadership Team
BOLTON VALLEY, VT - JULY 22, 2026 — Bolton Valley Resort is proud to announce the next evolution of its executive leadership team, as the resort prepares for its next chapter. Guided by the community-focused values Ralph DesLauriers established when he built the resort nearly 60 years ago, this leadership transition positions family-owned Bolton Valley for growth while preserving its independent spirit.
As part of this leadership evolution, Lindsay DesLauriers is transitioning from her role as President and CEO to Chair of the Board while assuming a new strategic leadership position focused on the resort’s long-term growth and development. She will remain actively involved in shaping the resort’s future by identifying new opportunities, guiding major development projects, and ensuring the vision her father established continues for generations to come.
Stepping into the role of President and CEO is Tara Murphy, an accomplished Vermont business leader with more than 30 years of executive leadership experience. Throughout her career, Murphy has built high-performing teams, guided organizations through growth and transformation, and developed a reputation for fostering strong workplace cultures. After serving as a business consultant to Bolton Valley for more than a year, she will now oversee the resort’s day-to-day operations while continuing to strengthen the authentic, community-focused experience that defines Bolton Valley.
Joining Murphy on the executive leadership team is Evan DesLauriers, who has been named Vice President of Bolton Valley Resort. In his expanded role, Evan will continue leading resort operations, strategic initiatives and long-term planning while carrying forward the DesLauriers family’s deep commitment to Bolton Valley’s independent spirit.
Working alongside Murphy and Evan is recently-appointed General Manager Nick Lemire, who will continue overseeing the resort’s daily operations and ensuring guests receive the exceptional experience Bolton Valley is known for. Lemire said, “Having been part of the Bolton Valley family for the past decade, I’ve seen firsthand how much this resort has grown and evolved. Bringing Tara on as our new President and CEO is an important step in positioning Bolton Valley for continued long-term success.”
While leadership responsibilities are evolving, the DesLauriers family’s commitment to Bolton Valley remains unchanged. Lindsay and Evan will continue playing active leadership roles as the resort enters its next phase of growth.
As Lindsay shifts her focus toward long-term development, one of her first major initiatives will be Nordic Peaks, the first new construction project at Bolton Valley in more than 30 years.
The new neighborhood will bring 32 thoughtfully-designed condominiums and townhomes to the resort, expanding slopeside housing opportunities while supporting Bolton Valley’s long-term vision for sustainable growth. More than a new development, Nordic Peaks represents the next chapter of the vision Ralph DesLauriers began decades ago: thoughtful growth that strengthens the mountain while preserving the independent character that has always set Bolton Valley apart.
“Since our family got back to the mountain almost 10 years ago (time flies!), we have been totally focused on putting Bolton Valley on a strong footing with an eye to the future. To be executing on the first major development project in over 30 years feels like a landmark milestone on our path forward, and I’m only sorry our father missed the groundbreaking,” said Lindsay DesLauriers.
“With respect to the change in leadership at the resort, I’ve known and admired Tara for many years, and we are truly fortunate to have someone of her caliber joining the team. It also gives me great personal joy to see my brother Evan stepping up into this greater leadership role at the same time. I am overflowing with gratitude and looking forward to the ride ahead with Tara, Evan, and Nick. The spirit of Bolton Valley is strong in them.”

Evan DesLauriers said, “Heading into our ninth season back at Bolton Valley, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. Lindsay has done an outstanding job leading the resort to this point, and I’m excited to see her shift her focus toward the big-picture opportunities that will shape Bolton Valley’s future.
“With Nick in the General Manager role, me taking on the role of Vice President, and Tara Murphy joining us as our new President and CEO, we’re well positioned for what’s ahead.
