Bolton Valley Resort

Bolton Valley is running scenic lift rides Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm - 8pm weekdays and 10am-5pm on the weekend., Labor Day through mid-October (see the mountain's lift schedule here).

Rides are $25 per adult ($15 for youth 17 and under) for a round-trip ride (up and down in about 20 minutes) from the Main Base Area. Enjoy the scenic lookout tower at the summit with 360-degree panoramic views of Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York’s highest peaks.

Bromley Mountain

Take a leisurely ride up the chairlift and enjoy the views from Bromley's new 4-story observation deck at the summit. Running daily from 9/21 - 10/6 and then again from 10/12 - 10/14, Bromley's lift offers a scenic adventure for leaf-peeping and sightseeing from the mountains' warm, south-facing slopes.

Feel free to bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic surrounded by incredible 360-degree views of Southern Vermont and the neighboring Green Mountains. Gaze across the valley to Stratton, Magic Mountain, Equinox Mountain, and more.

Burke Mountain

In true NEK style, Burke offers round-trip scenic chairlift rides during Bike Park hours for just $5, Thursday through Sunday, 10am-6pm.

Jay Peak Resort

Jay Peak’s iconic Tram will be running daily from 10AM to 5:00PM starting July 4, except for September 15-24 when it will be closed for routine maintenance. $25 for adults, $20 for juniors, and a $75 family 4-pack make this an activity you won’t want to miss.

Killington Resort

Embark on an unforgettable 1.25-mile journey aboard the K-1 Express Gondola to the summit of Killington Peak. At 4,241 feet, Vermont's second tallest and highest lift-serviced peak offers unparalleled vistas that change with the seasons. As you ascend, watch the landscape unfold beneath you. In summer, lush green forests carpet the mountains. Come autumn, the view transforms into a breathtaking tapestry of reds, oranges, and golds as fall foliage paints the Green Mountains in vibrant hues.

At the top, Killington Peak is just a short hike away, offering 360-degree panoramic views that showcase Vermont's natural beauty in all directions. Explore 15 miles of designated resort hiking trails, in addition to sections of the famous Appalachian and Long Trails, each offering its own unique perspective on the landscape. Scenic Lift Rides operate Thursday-Sunday 10am – 5pm July 3-September 7, 2025, and will operate daily from 10am – 5pm starting September 11 – October 13. (full operating schedule here).

The last ride up the K-1 Gondola is 30 minutes prior to the posted closing time. Animals are not allowed on chair lifts or gondolas.

IMPORTANT: The Peak Lodge will be closed on the following dates:

Mad River Glen

Foliage lift rides are available on America’s favorite Single Chair both Saturday and Sunday in the fall. Foliage lift ride tickets are good for a round trip from base to summit and back down again, the cost is $20 for adults and $15 for juniors and seniors (free for season pass holders).

Green and Gold Weekend

Foliage lift ride tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket window. Stark’s Pub, the General Store and Ticket Booth will all be open, please see operational hours listed at MadRiverGlen.com.

Magic Mountain

After being spirited up the mountain on Magic Mountain’s Green lift to Sunshine Corner, riders will have an afternoon to enjoy a view of fall foliage they won’t soon forget. Enjoy beverages, picnicking, and cornhole 11:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Tickets may be purchased at the base lodge; rides are $30 for adults and $25 for youth under 18. Children must be 3+ to ride the chairlift with an adult. Unlimited 25/26 pass holders ride the chair for free but must get a ticket at the window.

Middlebury Snowbowl

Join the Middlebury Snowbowl community for a breathtaking journey through Vermont’s most stunning autumn scenery! Fall Foliage Lift Rides offer a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant colors of fall from one of the best vantage points in the state.

Enjoy a leisurely lift ride to the top of Snowbowl where you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the magnificent fall foliage that Vermont is famous for. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or someone looking for a peaceful escape, our lift rides provide an unforgettable experience.

Tickets for adults are $15 ($10 for juniors).

Mount Snow Resort

Experience one of the best scenic attractions in Vermont via The Bluebird Express. Families and friends can take in the views during their ride to the summit of Mount Snow. The Bluebird Express is open Friday through Sunday 10 A.M. – 5 P.M. through mid-October (last chair up loads at 4:30 P.M.; last chair downloads at 5:00 P.M.). Lift tickets are available at the Clocktower ticket window (children 4 and under ride free, but children in carriers are not permitted on the chairlift).

Okemo Mountain Resort

Take a scenic ride on the Sunburst Six chairlift and get a different perspective of the Vermont landscape. Hike the trails, have a picnic, take some photos, enjoy the view! You'll be able to hike all the way down or ride the lift back when you are done. Chairlift ride tickets are sold until 3:30 P.M.

Okemo’s scenic lift rides are available Thursday-Sunday from July 3-September 1 (Labor Day weekend) and Weekends from September 6 – October 13.

Stowe Mountain Resort

Get on top of Vermont’s greatest views the easy way – in the famous Stowe Gondola SkyRide, running 10 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. from June 21st through October 19th. From the top of Mt. Mansfield – Vermont’s highest mountain – you can treat yourself to lunch at the Cliff House restaurant, visit the Summit Retail Gift Shop and enjoy a sweet treat at The Waffle.

Stratton Mountain Resort

The summit of Southern Vermont’s highest peak is only a scenic ride away. Let Stratton's Gondola wisk you skyward for views that span four states including the White Mountains, Adirondacks, Berkshires and Green Mountain ranges. Plan a picnic lunch and hike the historic fire tower or explore any of your favorite winter trails in warmer weather. Ride down to explore the Stratton Village filled with retail shops and restaurants.

Stratton’s Gondola operates Friday -Monday, 10:00am – 4:30pm June 1 – September 28, and Thursday – Sunday, 10:00am – 4:30pm from October 2 – 19.
