Mountain Biking for Women at Vermont Ski Areas

Vermont is about community—and helping everyone find theirs. Our goal is to make everyone feel excited to be outside in the mountains and learn in a way that best suits them. Women and gender-expansive groups provide a space for riders of many abilities to practice skills in a setting where they feel most comfortable. Check out programs offered by ski areas across the state.

Bolton Valley - Babe Force

Bolton’s Babe Force 4 Week MTB Camp is returning for its 6th year this Summer!

Bolton’s Babe Force MTB Camp is intended for female-identifying and non-binary riders of all abilities whether you’re a first-timer how to downhill bike, or are a multi-season shredder.

Babe Force offers several different levels of instruction to best suit your comfort and ability:

  • Bell Peppers (Beginners) – I have never been downhill mountain biking, and/or have limited experience riding the bike lift, and/or just want to learn the foundational skills. My goal is to start/continue building confidence on the green trail and work my way up to blue flow or blue tech trails by the end of the 4 weeks.
  • Jalapeño Peppers (Intermediate) – I mountain bike a few times a month, and/or looking to improve my skills on more technical terrain, and/or haven’t had formal instruction. I can make it down blue trails and my goal is to work on more technical trails and work my way up to blacks by the end of the 4 weeks.

*All riders will get assessed in the progression zone to ensure that everyone is grouped based on the level that matches their abilities and goals.
