Kingdom Trails

Kingdom Trails operates out of Darling Hill in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, described by many as the prettiest mile in Vermont, where the trails wind through fields and forest past historic barns, quaint inns, and Victorian farmhouses with long views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The trail network runs year-round, with something on offer in every season.

In winter, Kingdom Trails grooms 16-plus kilometers of classic and skate ski trails on Darling Hill, ranging from beginner to advanced intermediate terrain. The network also serves as home training grounds for Lyndon Institute and St. Johnsbury Academy Nordic teams. Snowshoeing is welcome on groomed fat bike trails, ungroomed trails, and Nordic ski trails when conditions allow. Fat bikers will find 15-plus miles of groomed singletrack, though conditions change quickly and checking trail reports before heading out is always a good idea.

Summer brings over 53 miles of mountain biking trails, including an extensive network of adaptive mountain bike accessible trails developed in partnership with Vermont Adaptive, Adaptive Sports Partners North Country, and the Kelly Brush Foundation, making Kingdom Trails one of the more accessible trail networks in the region for riders of all abilities.
