Jay Peak’s golf course pairs a relaxed Northern Vermont setting with thoughtful course design by Graham Cooke. Natural waterways, wooded terrain, mountain views and carefully maintained greens shape the experience for a wide range of players, from frequent golfers to first-time visitors.

The 6,186-yard, par-72 championship course includes a practice facility with a 12,000-square-foot putting green and practice bunker, a full-size retail pro shop, an on-course beverage cart Friday through Sunday, and the Clubhouse Bar and Grill with indoor and outdoor seating. Killington also hosts league nights and tournaments throughout the season.
Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury offers a classic New England golf experience set among rolling hills and Vermont landscapes. The course has welcomed players for decades and continues to evolve through thoughtful improvements.
Recent projects have honored the course’s history while improving playability, including strategic tree removal, drainage renovations on several greens and a redesigned first hole with a new green complex by golf course architect and Middlebury alumnus Ron Prichard.

Mount Snow Golf Club is open daily during the summer. Designed by New England course architect Geoffrey Cornish, the 18-hole championship course sits 2,000 feet above sea level and winds through Vermont mountain terrain.
The course features views of the Green Mountains, including Mount Snow and Haystack, with fairways lined by tamaracks, oaks, birches and sugar maples. The front nine stretches across open scenery, while the back nine moves through wooded terrain. Water comes into play on 11 holes, and 41 sand traps are placed throughout the course.
Quechee Club features two championship 18-hole courses designed by Geoffrey Cornish and restored in 2012 after Tropical Storm Irene by course architect Brian Silva.
The courses are maintained to high standards and are designed for a range of skill levels. Members, guests and property renters can play from mid-April to early November, with scenery that changes from spring blooms to summer greens and fall foliage.
The Mountain Course
Winding along the natural contours of the mountainside, the acclaimed Mountain Course at Spruce Peak is a true alpine golf experience. Riding to over 1,800 feet in elevation, this Bob Cupp designed course brings you through dramatic rock outcroppings and wooded areas; every round offering sweeping views of Mount Mansfield and the Spruce Peak.

Stowe Country Club
Fully redesigned by Beau Welling Design, this stunning layout blends classic charm with modern playability, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Green Mountains. After two years of renovations, the full 18 holes are now open and available starting in summer 2026. Every round is a chance to test your skill, embrace the beauty of Vermont’s long summer days, and be part of the next chapter in Stowe’s rich golf legacy.
Stratton Mountain Resort’s golf course is set in the Green Mountains and was designed by Geoffrey Cornish. The 27-hole layout includes three distinct 9-hole courses that make use of the area’s natural contours, water features and mountain setting.
With rotating 18-hole and 9-hole options, Stratton Mountain Golf Club can host group outings, corporate events, charity tournaments and family rounds. Stratton also offers a Friday Night Golf Scramble for members and non-members, with a 5 p.m. shotgun start.
Sugarbush Golf Club offers Vermont golf memberships designed for a variety of schedules and playing styles, from frequent rounds to flexible family golf options.
Golfers can play through the spring, summer and fall with access options tailored to their needs. Unless otherwise noted, carts and range balls are included.
The golf course at Woodstock Country Club is surrounded by the Kedron Valley and views of Mount Peg. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the 18-hole, par-70 course offers a memorable round for golfers of many abilities. This course was listed as one of the top 100 golf resorts by Golf Magazine.
Jay Peak’s disc golf course, built in 2017, features panoramic views, elevation changes, wooded and open holes, water hazards and unique mountain features.
Tickets, rentals and course maps/scorecards are available at the Mountain Shop on Tramside.
Magic Mountain National is open May 23 through Oct. 31 and offers a championship-style disc golf course with forested terrain, open pastures and mountain views.
The course is a summer and fall option for families, friends and groups looking for time outside. Rental discs are available for players who do not have their own. After a round, visitors can stop by the Black Line Tavern for food and drinks.
Players can pay for a round with cash at the first-hole cash box or through Venmo or PayPal. The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the lodge.
The Maples Disc Golf Course at Okemo Mountain Resort features 18 holes with tournament-style baskets in and around Jackson Gore.
The course is available for play by the round at the Jackson Gore Ticket Window.
Two courses ranked #6 and #8 by UDisc’s Worlds Best Disc Golf Courses
Smugglers’ Notch Resort is home to Brewster Ridge and Fox Run Meadows, two highly regarded disc golf courses, along with the shorter Village 9 course.
The resort has hosted the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships and the Green Mountain Championship, a Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series event. The Pro Shop carries disc golf and outdoor essentials.
Brewster Ridge offers a wooded, technical challenge and typically takes 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete. Fox Run Meadows features open fairways and a championship layout that usually takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to play. Village 9 is a shorter, family-friendly option that can be played in about 30 minutes to one hour
Sugarbush Disc Golf Course features 18 holes spread across the Lincoln Peak base area and lower mountain trails. The course offers a scenic challenge for players of many skill levels, whether they are aiming for birdies or playing a casual round with friends.
The course is open from dawn to dusk. Players should self-pay online before starting their round.
von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort offers an 18-hole disc golf course designed for a range of skill levels. The course starts near the brewery and takes players through forests and meadows on the lodge grounds.
Players can buy a pass online or stop by the Bierhall. The course is open to the public and is included with the resort fee for guests staying at the lodge.
