What started as Capitol Grounds in 1998—a small coffee shop on State Street in Montpelier—has grown into 802Coffee, a proud Vermont roaster rooted in community and quality. Founder Bob Watson’s early commitment to exceptional beans helped spark a statewide love for specialty coffee. Since rebranding in 2017, 802Coffee has expanded its reach while staying true to its origins. Now led by Bob’s daughter Julia, the team continues to roast in the heart of Vermont and serve loyal customers near and far.
