Women's Clinics: Honing New Skills

Women's Clinics at Stratton Mountain Resort

National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month is over, but there is still plenty of snow on which to hone new skills. Many of our member ski areas will be putting on clinics for women who are new to the sport and those who already know how to ski and ride.

Suicide Six

Suicide Six, Vermont’s first ski area, will be putting on a series of Women’s clinics this year. “We are really excited to offer women’s specific programming that will allow like-minded skiers and riders to connect in the mountain environment” said Christina Mattson, sports programming director at Suicide Six. These clinics are designed to “encourage ladies of all ability levels to be confident in their on-snow endeavors.” The program includes on and off-snow activities: a four-hour lesson, lunch, post-ski cocktail, and an afternoon workshop on things like equipment demos and ski tuning. Now that sounds like a perfect way to spend a ski day.

  • Full day clinics designed specifically for beginner and intermediate female skiers and riders.
  • Includes: 4 hours of on-snow group instruction, 1-hour off-snow workshop, full-day lift ticket and lunch.
  • Dates: Feb. 10, Feb, 24, Mar. 3
  • Time: 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
  • Price: $99.00
