Take 3 Beginner Package

10.16.20

Dear Future Skiers and Riders,

Thank you for your interest in the Ski Vermont Take 3 Beginner Package. This winter, our member ski areas will be operating in compliance with CDC guidance and State of Vermont guidance and requirements to help keep their guests, employees, and communities healthy. Lesson programs will fall under this guidance and ski areas anticipate limited lesson types and availability. For this reason, we have decided not to offer the popular Beginner Take 3 Package for this winter, however, we do expect that it will be back for Winter 2021-22. If you are interested in learning to ski or snowboard, we suggest that you check with your local or favorite ski area. For links to individual resort lesson pages, visit their website using the links below.

Vermont’s cross-country ski areas also offer great ways to get outside and enjoy winter. You can also find their information using the Mountain Finder.

Individual ski area lessons webpages can be found below:

Thanks for your interest in learning to “ski Vermont” and we hope that you can get out there this winter or visit us again in the future when we expect to be offering the Take 3 again.

Please note there continues to be no changes to the original terms and conditions related to 2019-2020 Ski Vermont products as stated at the time of purchase. Due to the way our highly discounted products and programs are redeemed at our participating member resorts, our products remain non-transferable and non-refundable, partial or otherwise. As is the nature with most discounted items and as stated in the terms and conditions, all sales are final and only valid through the season they are issued for, however or whenever that might come to an end. Ski season is weather-dependent and never finite to begin with, and we had a sizable window - early November to mid-March - in which to use this year's passes. Even in a season not cut short by a global health crisis, many areas cease lift operations by the end of March. Given the circumstances, and how heavily discounted the Take 3 Beginner Pass is to begin with we hope customers will understand. Thank you for supporting Vermont ski areas, and we hope you and yours are well during this difficult time.*We made an exception for completely unused Take 3 Beginner Pass purchased 2/24/2020 or after. We offered a full refund only option. In order to be eligible for this refund, the fully UNUSED had to be mailed back to Ski Vermont by April 16, 2020.

The Take 3 Beginner Package allows you or someone you love to take 3 beginner ski or snowboard lessons at participating Vermont resorts for one low package price of $129.

Beginner skiers and riders can choose to redeem all three lessons at the same resort* or they can choose to visit a new resort for each lesson – it’s up to them. Each pass will include rental equipment for the day plus a group lesson with a professional instructor and a lift ticket to access limited beginner only terrain. Please note this product is for beginners only and should not be purchased more than once for an individual who has already used the program in a previous season unless for the purpose of learning another sport.

We recommend calling ahead to check reservation availability if you are coming during a busy time of year and then reserving once you have purchased the Take 3 Beginner Package. A complete list of terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of this page.

*Redeeming all 3 lessons at one resort will not qualify you for that resort’s specific program completion rewards such as Bolton Valley’s “Learn to Love It” program, Sugarbush Resort’s “First Timer to Life Timer” program, or the “Discovery Learn To” programs at Killington Resort. Those programs must be purchased separately. Please note that you may not be able to combine the Take 3 Beginner Package with an existing vacation package at a Vermont Resort.
