Easter Celebrations at Vermont Resorts

Whoever said Easter Egg Hunts and skiing don’t go hand-in-hand has clearly never been to Vermont in April. This weekend, visitors can celebrate Easter at eight different Vermont resorts, all while skiing or snowboarding.

Burke Mountain Resort
Bring the whole family out for the annual Burke Mountain Easter Egg Hunt! Starting at 10:00 am on Easter Sunday, Burke Mountain will be hiding Easter eggs all over the Upper Mountain, from the hotel to the trails themselves and inside those eggs will be awesome prizes, Two golden eggs, will contain a free weekend getaway package for two and a 2017-18 season's pass.

Easter is also the closing weekend for the 2016-17 season and will include special NEK Weekend rates where everyone can ski and ride for just $25.00!

Jay Peak Resort
Take Vermont’s only Aerial Tram to the summit for Jay Peak’s annual Easter Sunrise Service. After the service, ski or ride down to the base or download on the tram. The service will run from 6:00-7:00 am and the first Tram ride will run at 4:45 am.

Killington Resort
Start off Easter Sunday with a Sunrise Service at the Peak and then search for treats left behind by the Easter Bunny, including but not limited to, lift tickets and season passes.

Mount Snow Resort
Join Mount Snow for their Annual Golden Egg Hunt. Find the Golden Egg and win a 2017-18 Peak Pass. All ages can search for the Golden Egg. For those who find the hunt too difficult, clues will be given every hour. In addition, children are encouraged to search for over 2,000 colored eggs hidden on the mountain.

Okemo Mountain Resort
Join Okemo Mountain Resort this Sunday to celebrate Easter with their Sunrise Service, Golden Egg Hunt and a Junior Egg Hunt. Activities kick off at 5:55 am for the sunrise and last all day until the last egg is found.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Smugglers’ Notch is hosting a full weekend of Easter activities this Saturday and Sunday for friends and families of all ages to enjoy. Choose from Easter arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, a bunny hop dance and more on Saturday.On Sunday, enjoy an early morning Easter Summit Sunrise Service.

Stowe Mountain Resort
Join fellow early risers atop Mt. Mansfield Sunday morning for the 62nd Easter Sunrise Service. This non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service will be provided by the Stowe Community Church. A complimentary Mountain Gondola ride will operate from 5:15 am – 6:15 am to transport the public to the service (weather permitting). Participants may ski down after the service or ride the
Mountain Gondola.

Sugarbush Resort
Start Easter morning with a beautiful morning service at Allyn’s Lodge followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at Lincoln Peak, and an elegant Easter Brunch at Timbers Restaurant.
