December, 5, 2015 - Rails 2 Riches at Killington Resort
The East’s most lucrative rail jam, Rails 2 Riches, officially kicks off the shred season for pro and amateur skiers and riders from across the US and Canada.
December 5, 2015 & March 26, 2016 – BrewFest at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Smugglers’ popular BrewFest bookends the ski and ride season in the winter and spring, with local and regional beers for sampling, music, food, prizes, and a souvenir glass. www.smuggs.com
December 11-13, 2015; January 24-26, February 5-7, March 13-15, 2016 - Women on SnoW (WOW) at Stratton Mountain Resort
The multi-day women’s camp is designed to supercharge womens’ skiing skills and increase confidence in a supportive, fun environment while being coached by elite guest coaches and Stratton’s top instructors.

December 26 & 29, 2015 - Tour De Moon at Sugarbush Resort
Take a guided skin or snowshoe to the Glen House at Mt. Ellen for some hearty food and drink, followed by a moonlit ski down the mountain. Other dates in 2016 include: 1/17, 1/23, 2/14, 2/20, 3/5, 3/19.
December 28, 2015, January 18 & February 15, 2016 - Grommet Jam Series at Mount Snow
Skiers and riders ages 12 and under will be coached in the park in the morning and then compete in the afternoon, all at Grommet Park in Carinthia.
December 31, 2015 - Family New Year’s Eve at Okemo Mountain Resort
Midnight arrives early for those enjoying an assortment of activities such as ice skating, snowtubing, snowshoeing, mountain coaster rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, bingo, trivia, a DJ dance party and more. Party games, balloons, noisemakers and fireworks add to the celebration, complete with a pizza party dinner in the Roundhouse at Jackson Gore.
January 23, 2016 - Mad River Glen Junior Unconventional Terrain Competition
The Junior Unconventional Terrain is for skiers 14 and younger. Top finishers will qualify for the Triple Crown Unconventional Terrain as well as all the Ski The East Freeride Tour events.
January 23, 2016 - NICA Ice Carving Competition at Stowe Mountain Resort
See the Country’s best Ice Carvers create masterpieces in the Spruce Peak Plaza.
February 5, 2016 - Mom’s Day Off at Bromley Mountain
Show a picture of your kid and ski or ride all day for a $20 donation to the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center.
February 7, 2016 - FISK Trophy Race at Suicide Six
This year's Fisk Trophy slalom race, the 79th consecutive running of the event, proves to be the embodiment of why ski racing is so easy to love. The race has been in existence since 1937 and is the oldest alpine trophy race in North America. www.suicide6.com

February 20-22, 2016 - Mad River Glen Triple Crown Competition Series
Three events back-to-back-to-back determine Mad River Glen’s king and queen of the hill, it the Unconventional Terrain Comp on Saturday, the Mogul Challenge on Sunday and the Vertical Challenge on Monday.
February 21, 2016 – 72nd Annual Stowe Derby at Stowe Mountain Resort
Participate or cheer on the Oldest Downhill/Cross-Country Ski Race in North America.
February 26-27, 2016 – Winter Carnival at Middlebury College Snow Bowl
The Middlebury College winter carnival will serve as the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Championships with alpine and Nordic competitions for the top college skiers in the east. The Ski Vermont specialty food tour will stop at the carnival on Saturday, February 27.
March 4-6, 2016 - Special Olympics Vermont Winter Games at Suicide Six
This annual three-day competition offers four winter sports for athletes to compete in: Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, Alpine Skiing and Cross-Country Skiing — creating an ever-lasting memorable event for all involved. www.suicide6.com

March 5, 2016 - Light the Night Rail Jam at Okemo Mountain Resort
Okemo is lighting up the snow for skiers and riders of all ages with $5,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. A new rail garden constructed specifically for this event will give skiers and riders an optimal venue for showing off their best moves.
March 6, 2016 - Extreme Skiing Challenge at Smugglers’ Notch Resort

March 11-13, 2016 - Vermont Open at Stratton Mountain Resort
