Sun, swimming and surf at a ski resort? Must be summer camp. Vermont’s ski resorts are surrounded by some of the greatest adventures known to kids. Whether dabbling in resort activities such as biking, swimming, tennis and disc golf, or exploring nature’s peaks, valleys and waterways, kids always come away with a smile and an experience of a lifetime.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Children in Smugglers’ Notch Resort’s award-winning vacation programs for ages 3-17 have enjoyed Vermont’s Green Mountains as their playground since the resort first developed these programs in 1976. Supervised activities include pool and waterpark visits, nature discovery, arts and crafts, outdoor games and more. Kids can also choose specialty camps for immersion in Outdoor Survival, Skateboarding, Tennis, Disc Golf, Mountain Biking and High Adventure, which includes aerial trekking, kayaking, rock climbing and Via Ferrata hiking/high ropes course experience. Jay Peak Resort
The Raised Jay Summer camps will teach your child to surf (yes, you can surf at Jay Peak), skate, golf, climb, tie-dye, cook, hike, kayak, and the simple, free feeling of being a careless kid in the summer. For kids ages 6 to 12 with multiple sessions throughout the summer.

Mount Snow Resort
Family Camp at Mount Snow offers families an opportunity to unplug and reconnect during 3, 4 or 7 day fully-customizable, all-inclusive experiences that include a long list of activities, all meals and modern lodging. Families will leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind, as well as their smartphones, and enjoy all the Green Mountains have to offer. 

For kids age 5 to 12, Mount Snow offers Outdoor Exploration Camp, which is a day camp that encourages kids to be active and enjoy the outdoors with hiking, biking, swimming and other activities.

New this summer, Teen Camp at Mount Snow is for kids age 13 to 15 and is focused on enjoying the outdoors every day.  Mountain biking, hiking, swimming and more are all a part of this adventure camp.

Okemo Mountain Resort
Operating six days a week (closed Sundays) in Okemo’s Jackson Gore base area, Camp Gokemo is designed for campers ages 4-13 who are sure to enjoy Vermont summertime fun with daily indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, organized games and sports, swimming and a different general theme each week. Camp Gokemo includes snacks and lunch as well as any supplies needed for arts and crafts, games and activities. Participation is available on a day-by-day basis or multi-day packs may be purchased at a discount. Discounts are also available for resort guests and Vermont residents. Stowe Mountain Resort
Stowe Mountain Resort offers a fun and active camp for children ages 3-12. Kids learn golf, tennis, rock climbing and more. Other activities include tie-dye, arts & crafts, exploring streams & rivers, hiking, swimming, ropes courses, disc golf, soccer and volleyball. Camp is offered everyday rain or shine; with daily rates, 5-day and season passes.

Every day is an adventure full of fun and learning at Stowe Mountain Resort’s Summer Camp Adventure Program, where children have the experience of a lifetime. Stowe Summer Camp is open June 15 through August 29.

Stratton Mountain Resort
Share the love of the outdoors with the next generation at Stratton Mountain Resort this summer. Adventure Campers enjoy healthy lifestyle activities that focus on art, mountain exploration, sports and swimming. Based at the Stratton Training and Fitness Center, Cliff Drysdale Tennis School offers camps that foster both lifelong friendships and lifelong love of the game. For your aspiring golfer, the Stratton Golf School’s Junior Camp covers all aspects of the game for any ability. Sugarbush Resort
Sugarbush offers summer camps for ages 3-18 from late-June to mid-August. This year the resort is rolling out special weekly themed camps for children ages 6-12. Themes include adventure, climbing, farm-to-plate, water and outdoor survival. Additionally, four-day golf or tennis camps are available in mid-July and mid-August. Lodging packages are available.

Q Burke Mountain Resort
Q Burke Mountain Resort and Northwoods Stewardship Center team up to lead our mountain bike adventure camps offering young bikers the best of Q Burke’s mountain biking and Northwoods’ camp focus and experience in facilitating team-building and new connections with the outdoors. Participants will gain cross-country and single track riding skills from experienced instructors and participate in tours at Q Burke Mountain Resort. Children ages 10-14 can sign up for our Advanced Mountain Bike Adventure Camp happening Monday, July 13th through Friday, July 17th.  Beginner level camp will be take place on Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th and is appropriate for children ages 8 through 14. The Quechee Club
The Quechee Club offers Mini Q and Q Crew camps for kids ages 3 and up. Both camps begin June 29th and run through August 14th. Arts & crafts, science experiments, swimming lessons, outdoor games and optional off-campus adventure trips throughout the summer! Full-day camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Campers may select individual days, weeks or join us for the whole season.

Adventure Camp for Teens offers two sessions in July. Each session includes two weekly trips. Visit the indoor trampoline park, go horseback riding, mountain bike at Burke Mountain or give white river rafting a go!
