Magic Mountain will open their summer adventure park open in June 21, 2015 and run through Columbus Day with the TimberQuest Park – a series of tree-top obstacle courses and zip lines. It’s a park designed to offer a challenge in self-discovery, thrills, excitement and adventure in an authentic Vermont mountain experience.
Okemo Mountain Resort
Rip, Zip or Flip at Okemo’s Adventure Zone! Visitors are sure to giggle, shout and squeal with delight. Highlights include the Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster where sled-like cars carry one or two riders along rails that twist through corkscrew turns, along banking loops and over rippling waves. The Haulback Challenge Course is a treetop adventure with suspended obstacles and ziplines. Sawyer’s Sweep Zipline Tour offers guided high-flying tours featuring suspension bridges, rappels and seven zipline segments. Visitors can take a leap into a giant inflatable bag like a movie stunt double or combine an advanced trampoline jumping surface with bungee cord tethers for flips 20 feet off the ground on the Stump Jumper Bungee Trampoline. The new summer energy center at Snowshed will feature Snowshed Express lift service increased to 7-days a week for hikers and mountain bikers, the 4,800’ Beast Coaster, a 1,000’ Skyeride that lifts participants 200 feet above Snowshed Pond, a four-story ropes course loaded with obstacles, a 5,000 square foot maze, ATV and Segway tours and more.
Construction commences during Killington's spring ski season adding new bike trails in the Snowshed area, and Grand Opening of this exciting new summer activity venue and the kick-off of Killington Resort’s summer operations is slated for June 26, 2015 with the Beast Coaster expected to open on August 1 and operate year-round.
Sugarbush offers several mountain activities outside of mountain biking, golf, and hiking including two 18-hole disc golf courses, an 800’ zipline, bungee trampoline, bounce house obstacle course, and scenic lift rides. Mountain activities open on Saturday, June 27th and run daily through Labor Day.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort
At Smugglers’ Notch Resort, ArborTrek Canopy Adventures has established an adventure hub that serves all ages. The action takes place on the wooded mountainside where ArborTrek’s award-winning eight zip line canopy tour has been drawing visitors since 2010. Two aerial trekking courses incorporate over 80 elements such as wobbly bridges, balance beams, zip lines, rope swings, cargo nets and more connecting tree platforms anchored 3 to 25 feet above the ground. The Apple Creek course serves ages 4 and older, and the Back Forty Course is for ages 8 and older.
