April Events & Deals: Easter with Ski Vermont

A visit with the Easter Bunny at Sugarbush Resort

EASTER WEEKEND
April 4-5, 2015

Celebrate Easter weekend with the family or friends at a Vermont resort and enjoy this season’s epic snow conditions while participating in great events.

Sugarbush Resort
Begin your holiday weekend with a beautiful morning service at Allyn’s Lodge followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg Hunt and an elegant Easter Brunch at Timbers Restaurant.

Stowe Mountain Resort
Stowe’s 60th annual non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service will be held as always at the Cliff House atop Mt. Mansfield. Complimentary Gondola transportation is available to the public from 4:30am – 5:30 am. The Gondola closes promptly so please allow for extra time (10 - 15 mins) to park and walk to the Gondola Barn before 5:30 am. Dress warmly and for mountain conditions. Participants will also have the opportunity to make donations to the United Way of Lamoille County during the service. A Children's Easter Egg Hunt has moved to the Spruce Plaza for 9am.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort
On Easter Sunday, conditions permitting, the Sterling lift will transport attendees up the mountain free of charge to participate in a non-denominational service and Easter message by a local minister. Lift loading begins at 6:00 am and ends promptly at 6:30 am. No experience with riding the chairlift is necessary. Following the service, guests may ski or snowboard to the base area or ride the lift back down the mountain.

Q Burke Mountain
Vermont Spirits will kick off the weekend for adults on Good Friday providing samplings paired with great eats from the Tamarack Pub & Girl. Gang of Thieves will be hosting après in the Bear Den Lounge at Mid Burke and Easter brunch will be served Sunday in the Tamarack Dining Room.

Okemo Mountain Resort
Bite the ears off a chocolate bunny at Okemo this Easter weekend. The fun begins on Saturday, April 4 with Okemo’s Slush Cup and Splash for Cash. Costume-clad Slush Cup competitors schuss toward an 80-foot-long slushy pond and try to make it across without falling in. It’s a chilly spring dip for those who don’t make it. Following the Slush Cup, you've got one shot to soar off a kicker and grab a bag o’ cash dangling above the slush pond. Easter morning starts with a sunrise service led by Pastor Abe in the Jackson Gore courtyard and an on-mountain Easter Egg Hunt that begins when the lifts start spinning. Find the one special egg for a very special prize.

Killington Resort
Easter Sunrise Service is set to begin at 6:30 a.m. at the Killington Peak Lodge. The service is free and open to all, but space is limited to 275 guests and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Join afterward for a community breakfast.

After the service, starting at 8:00 a.m. descend to the K-1 Base Lodge for an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages. At 9:00 a.m., a toddler-friendly Easter Egg Hunt will follow at the K-1 Base as well.

Bromley Mountain
Everyone knows the Easter Bunny love snow. He plans to stop at the Sun Mountain on Sunday, April 5, hiding a very special golden egg somewhere on the mountain. In that golden egg will be a certificate for a 2015/16 Winter Season Pass! Ages 17 and under only. And not to leave our youngest guests out, the big bunny will coordinate a hunt with the Kids Center, too.
