Winter Holds Strong as Spring Nears: The Fall Line, 3/5/15

The glades looking good at Q Burke Mountain Resort yesterday.

Winter's Holding Strong
Vermont resorts had a nice but short break from colder than cold temps and grey days with a couple really gorgeous bluebird and, dare we say, warm (over20 degrees) days in the last week, giving us a little glimpse into what will soon turn into a fabulous spring ski and ride season. But with an additional 12” inches of natural snow in the Green Mountains this week, you can hold onto dreams of spring conditions a little longer and relish in the extended winter we’re experiencing right now. Two clipper storms are due to approach this weekend bringing another few inches on Saturday and Sunday. Spring is right around the corner, but for now let’s celebrate that March has come in like a lion.

Make sure to check the snow report yourself by visiting skivermont.com/conditions for up to the minute conditions updates.
