March 1, 2015 - High Fives Fat Ski-A-Thon at Sugarbush Resort, Mount Ellen
A fun and casual event to raise awareness for the High Fives Foundation, participants raise money for each completed lap on Mt. Ellen’s Summit Chair. Pre-registration is required.

March 6 & 22, 2015 - Subaru and Hyundai Owner Appreciation Day at Bolton Valley
On Friday, March 6, Subaru and Hyundai owners can get one free lift ticket and buy up to three more lift tickets at 50% off.

March 6-8, 2015 - Special Olympics Vermont Winter Games at Suicide Six
This annual three-day competition offer four winter sports for athletes to compete in: Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, Alpine Skiing and Cross-Country Skiing - creating an everlasting memorable event for all involved.

March 7, 2015 - Q Burke Mountain Resort Comedy Series

March 7, 2015 - Red Bull All Snow at Mount Snow Resort
Inspired by concrete skate parks and hand-dug halfpipes, this series will challenge competitors to throw down various tricks on snow only features.

March 7, 2015 - Castlerock Extreme at Sugarbush Resort, Lincoln Peak
Show of your skills as part of the Ski The East Freeride Tour. Be judged in categories including style and line and put together the best run down Castlerock’s Lift Line trail. 60 pre-registration and 20 day-off spots available.

March 8, 2015 – Extreme Skiing Challenge at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Junior and adult skiers take on the double black diamond Madonna Liftline, the most challenging lift-accessed terrain at Smugglers’ in this open freeskiing competition now in its third year, with competitors judged on line, control, fluidity, technique and style. (www.smuggs.com/events)

March 9-10, 2015 - The Zen of Skiing with John Egan at Q Burke Mountain Resort
John Egan, a Warren Miller Star and pioneer of extreme skiing will be hosting a 2-day clinic at Q Burke Mountain Resort. Arrive early Sunday evening, March 8th to watch a few of his favorite films and après with Hill Farmstead Brewery.  Visit www.skiburke.com/events for complete details. 

March 12-15, 2015 Vermont Open at Stratton Mountain
Stratton Mountain hosts the Vermont Open, the event of spring designed for snowboarders by snowboarders. Designed for amateurs, juniors, pros and the legends of snowboarding with Rail Jam, Slopestyle, Big Air, Banked Slalom and the Washed Up Cup. March 13, 2015 - Music in the Bear Den Lounge with Dojo at Q Burke Mountain Resort
Dojo kicks out high-energy covers of 80’s classics, bluegrass-style. 3-6pm, no cover.

March 13-14, 2015 - Carinthia Freeski Open at Mount Snow Resort
The annual AFP certified event is back to its roots as a freeskiing, slopestyle competition that since its inception has seen some of the biggest names in the sport on the podium.

March 14, 2015 - Slash and Berm Banked Slalom: The Stash, Bear Mountain at Killington Resort
Benefit banked slalom event held at Killington's Stash Park to bring the East Coast snowboarding community together. Paired with Ski Vermont’s Specialty Food tour offering samples of delicious Vermont treats.

March 14, 2015 - Ian Muller Rail Jam with Live Music & Fireworks at Q Burke Mountain Resort
Q Burke Mountain Resort and the Lyndon State College Ski & Ride and Veteran’s Clubs are coming together to present the Ian Muller Memorial Rail Jam.  Planned in conjunction with the 2nd Annual NEK Veterans Summit at LSC rail jam kicks off at 5pm on Open Slope.  Complete details can be found on www.skiburke.com

March 14, 2015 - Sugar Daze Free Concert at Okemo Mountain Resort
Sugar Daze is a free outdoor concert extravaganza in the Jackson Gore courtyard with a beer garden and barbecue from 3-10 p.m. Opening the show will be CK3, a trio of amazing musicians who put a twist in classic tunes, followed by Brad Corrigan from the band Dispach, and headlined by alternative rock band Switchfoot.

March 14, 2015 - Sugaring Time Festival at Sugarbush Resort
Celebrate spring with events including a maple syrup scavenger hunt, donut eating contest, maple inspired cuisine and much more.

March 15, 2015 - Skier and Rider Appreciation Day and Specialty Food Day at Bolton Valley
On Sunday, March 15 sample food from specialty food vendors from around Vermont. Also, enjoy family oriented events and activities.

Skiers and riders compete under the lights for prizes in this fun park series. 

March 15, 2015 - Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge at Bromley Mountain

March 15, 2015 - Start Fun, Start Free - Intro to Ski & Ride FREE at Bromley Mountain

Flow over rollers and lean into a banked turn in the Banked Slalom on March 21.

March 21, 2015 - Spring Fling at Bromley Mountain
A Bromley family’s favorite sun-soaked (or just plain soaked) event is back. Featuring pond skimming, a duct tape derby, live music, a BBQ and even some rides from the summer adventure park.

March 21, 2015 - 4th Annual Rando Race at Bromley Mountain
Rando racers start at the base of the mountain, ascend it, then descend it (on marked in-bounds ski area trails), as fast as possible, over multiple laps, up to 5,000' cumulative vertical, in the truest test of the most complete skier overall.  For course layout details and updates, follow them on Facebook.

March 21, 2015 - Live Music in the Bear Den Lounge:  Sophistafunk at Q Burke Mountain Resort
Enjoy après with live music by Sophistafunk in the Mid-Burke Bear Den Lounge, no cover.  Fans across America are talking about the Syracuse-based band Sophistafunk – the product of three multi-talented musicians who combine spoken-word artistry, old school hip hop, and funky rhythms to create a unique live band experience.

March 21-22, 2015 -Jay Peak Extreme Competition - Ski The East Freeride Tour Championships
The fifth and final stop of the 2015 Ski The East Freeride Tour.

March 21-22, 2015 - 24 Hours of Stratton
Ski or Ride around-the-clock as the 24 Hours of Stratton returns. This team event is designed for up to 12 friends, family, colleagues to share the baton, rack up the vertical, enjoy the party and fireworks all while raising funds for the Stratton Foundation. March 27 – April 12, 2015 – MapleFest Celebration at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Celebrate Vermont’s maple sugaring season at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Visit a local sugarhouse and Father Winter’s slopeside tipi to learn about the tradition-filled maple sugaring process. MapleFest includes a welcome gift, complimentary daily specialty food samplings as well as spirits and beer tastings and sugar on snow during a weekly carnival. March 28, 2015 – Q Burke’s Annual Pond Skim at Q Burke Mountain Resort
Don’t miss this year’s Q Burke pond skim to be held on Lower Warren’s Way. All competitors start from the same mark. Then, as they are dunked in the drink, we lower the mark until one man and woman are crowned as the king of the pond. This year’s theme: zombies.  Après and giveaways with Magic Hat.

Celebrate the rites of spring with this Village block party that will knock your boots off with live music, street performers, great food, drink and good times.  

March 28, 2015 - Pond Skimming: Annual Rite of Spring at Sugarbush Resort, Lincoln Peak
The oldest continually running pond skimming event in the country, dive right into spring in your craziest costume. Limited to the first 100 competitors.

March 28, 2015 - Nor'beaster: The Hibernation Park Jam at Killington Resort

50/50 Mondays -Every Monday folks age 50 and over get 50% off lift tickets, lessons, rentals and lunch.

College Nights - Every Wednesday college students pay just $19 for lift tickets staring at noon. Pizza slices, hot dogs and sodas are just $2 for college students on Wednesdays.

Late Night at Bolton Valley - Every Friday the lifts spin until 10pm and lift tickets are just $19 starting at 7pm. Cap the night off with nightly drink specials, late night food and live entertainment in the James Moore Tavern.
