Join Juno, Bring a Friend, and Follow the Mamas: The Fall Line, 1/29/15
Okemo Mountain Resort
Earlier this week, snow totals from Nor’Easter Juno brought up to around 8” of fresh snow to many resorts across Vermont. An incoming Alberta clipper system is slated to touch down bringing even more snow this Friday and again on Monday. We’re anticipating up to 6” on Friday plus another refresh on Monday. Along with the snow comes the colder temperatures, so be sure to dress appropriately and, if you can pull yourself away from the primo conditions, take a few breaks during the day to grab a hot cocoa and warm up inside. According to one source: “This is not likely to be the last storm to bring snow into the Northeast in the near future.” Keep an eye on the snow totals by checking our conditions page throughout the weekend to find out just exactly what that means.
Bring A Friend, Win A Trip!
Ski Vermont is taking the national Bring a Friend campaign and making it a local, season-long contest. When you introduce someone new to skiing or snowboarding or when you try a new sport for the first time yourself, you can enter to win a 2 Night Ski and Stay Package for 2 to a resort in Vermont. The prize is good for next season, so you can enter to win all season long this year and come back next season, on us! Entering is easy, just tag all your photos from your day on the hill together with #BringAFriendVT. You can enter on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
