Vermont Ski Resorts Prepare for an Event-filled Martin Luther King Weekend

January’s three-day weekend is a great time to visit Vermont’s slopes, not only for the great snow, but the great line-up of events and deals. Guest should plan early and stay longer to enjoy all the amenities and activities Vermont’s ski and snowboard resorts have to offer.

Jay Peak Resort
Guests can start off MLK weekend with a Late Night Splash at Jay Peak’s Pump House; the waterpark stays open until midnight for those 21 and up on Friday, January 16. For the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, Smugglers’ Notch Resort’s lowest rates starting at $95 per youth and $125 per adult per night apply to stays of five nights or more, with arrivals January 14-18, 2015. Bromley Mountain
Rock the 3 day MLK weekend, Sun Mountain Style. There will be live music in the Wild Boar both Saturday (Satelite Shine) and Sunday (Mike McMann), and the Kids Lounge will be open for the younger set. Video games, movies, Vew-Do Boards and more for kids keeps the weekend fun rolling after lifts close. Bromley will even have a Burton Riglet Park set up at the base at from 4:30pm until dark for mini-shredding.
