Vermont’s resorts have a packed December schedule for friends and families this season.  


December 2-3, 2016 - Vermont Holiday Festival at Killington Grand Resort Hotel

December 3, 2016 - Sugarbash at Sugarbush Resort
Help celebrate Sugarbush's birthday with drinks, appetizers, and dancing in the Gate House Lodge. This year's theme is 80s skiing, so grab your best retro gear or après wear!

December 4, 2016 - Okemo Cares & Shares Food Drive
When skiers and snowboarders donate at least five non-perishable food items, a new child’s toy or new clothing item, they receive a coupon for a $39 lift ticket good the same day.

December 5, 2016 - Taste of Timbers at Sugarbush Resort
Welcome new chef, Patrick Garvin, and sample items from the new Timbers winter menu inspired by Sugarbush's best local and national food purveyors.

December 9-11, 2016 - Wassail Weekend at The Woodstock Inn

December 10, 2016 - Season Kick-off Party at Mad River Glen
Be sure to save the date for Mad River Glen's launch of a new ski season.  Things will get started with an appearance from Santa Claus himself. Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to sit with St. Nick's on the Single Chair from 3-5 PM. Then folks can enjoy dinner and libations in General Stark's Pub. The evening will climax with a performance by The Grift, MRG's favorite après ski band.

December 17, 2016 - Spirit(s) of the Season at Stratton Mountain Resort
Get into the Sprit(s) of the Season on Saturday, December 17 from 4-7 pm as the new Grizzly’s celebrates its one-year anniversary with live music, and a chance to sample winter craft brews, ciders, spirits and seasonal cocktails.  Local brewers and notable Vermont distillers, including Barr Hill, Mad River and Sapling, will be on hand with recipes and a chance to purchase spirits for holiday entertaining and gift giving.

December 17, 2016 - Vertical Challenge at Okemo Mountain Resort
Okemo kicks off this popular eastern race series on Okemo’s Bull Run. It is free and open to all ages and abilities. Race registration starts at 8 a.m. and racing starts at 11 a.m. with awards and a victory party at 3 p.m. To learn more visit,

December 17, 2016 - Rails 2 Riches at Killington Resort

Pico Mountain
Available beginning November 11, My Pico 3 Packs offer three direct-to-lift tickets valid during the 2016-17 ski season at Pico Mountain in Killington, Vermont. My Pico 3 Packs with tickets valid Monday-Thursday (non-peak) are $109, and My Pico 3 Packs valid any day of the season are just $119.

Okemo Mountain Resort

Mount Snow Resort

Mad River Glen
December 15, 2016 is the last day to purchase Mad Cards. A mere $159 gets purchasers 3 transferable day tickets good any time during the 2016-17 ski season plus $5 off any additional full day lift ticket purchased throughout the season.

Killington Resort
