Powder and Presidents: February Fun at Vermont Ski and Snowboard Resorts

Stowe Mountain Resort received 7" in a 24 hour period earlier this week; photo was taken on Monday, February 5, 2018.
Just in time for Presidents' Week, Killington Resort received 16" of snow on Monday, February 5, 2018.

February is shaping up to be a snowy month in Vermont, and ski and snowboard resorts are rejoicing in the fresh powder and looking forward to an activity-packed Presidents’ Week and Valentine’s Day

A storm system dropped up to 16 inches of snow across Vermont resorts overnight on Sunday into Monday and two more storms are expected to move through the state this week. Pair the extensive snowmaking coverage at Vermont resorts with this gift from Mother Nature, and the slopes will be in top condition for one of the most popular vacation periods of the season. Off-slope activities will be equally exciting during Presidents weekend with plenty of free live music, great food, parades, games and family activities.

Skiers and snowboarders can keep up with conditions at Vermont resorts as more snow continues to grace the slopes, and they’ll find more events and deals at, and the Ski Vermont Facebook page.
