Hooray for Mom: Mother's Day Events at Vermont Ski Areas

Sunday, May 12 is Mother’s Day – a time to celebrate and thank the women without whom we wouldn’t be who we are. Mother’s Day Brunch is as much a Vermont tradition as skiing, and many of Ski Vermont’s member areas host perfect celebratory meals to help fete these special women as they deserve:

Bolton Valley Resort

A special Mother’s Day Brunch will be served at the Village Café at Bolton Valley Resort on Sunday, May 12. Any mom who shows up sweaty and invigorated from climbing the Bolton Valley access road - whether on your bike or in your running shoes - will get a free congratulatory entree at the inaugural brunch of the 2019 Summer Season at Bolton Valley. Brunch is served from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 434-3444 for reservations.

Jay Peak Resort

Treat Mom to Mother’s Day Brunch at Alice’s table restaurant at Jay Peak Resort from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All-you-can-eat buffet. Reservations required; call 327-2323 or email with time/number of guests/food allergies and include subject line “Alice’s Table Restaurant.”

Mountain Top Inn and Resort

Mother’s Day Brunch will be served in the Event Barn at Mountain Top Inn and Resort on May 12, with seatings at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost is $35 per adult and $17 per child. Call 483-2311 for reservations.

Okemo Mountain Resort

Ingredients from local Vermont farmers will be featured at Okemo Mountain Resort’s Mother’s Day Brunch on May 12 at the Coleman Brook Tavern, Jackson Gore Inn, Jackson Gore Village. The buffet brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $24.95 for adults and $11.95 for children under 12. Call 228-1435 to make reservations.

Quechee Club

Buffets, a carving station and desserts are some of the highlights of Mother’s Day Brunch at Quechee Club on May 12. Seatings every half hour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $42 for adults and $15.95 for children ages 6-12; kids age 5 and under are free. Register online or call 295-9356.

Trapp Family Lodge

Banana Bread French Toast, Leek and Gruyere Tart and Lobster Bisque are just three of the many delicious options available at Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday at Trapp Family Lodge. The brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the cost is $65 for adults and $24 for children ages 6-12; kids 6 and younger eat free. Call 253-8511 for reservations.

Woodstock Inn & Resort

There is a full slate of activities to celebrate Mother’s Day on tap at Woodstock Inn & Resort for the weekend of May 11-12. On Saturday, a special “Learn to Golf With Mom” lesson and Mother’s Weekend Golf Scramble will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the resort’s Country Club. For those who prefer the tennis court to the golf course, a Mother and Family Tennis Tournament will take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Woodstock Athletic Club. The day’s events will conclude with a special Mother’s Weekend Tea Time in the Country Club Lounge from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, treat Mom to a Mother’s Spa Day package after Mother’s Day Brunch in the Rockefeller Room & Richardson’s Tavern from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A chef-crafted buffet will be accompanied by live music. The cost is $72 for adults and $36 for children ages 5-12. Call 457-6640 to make a reservation.
