COVID-19 Update - Majority of Vermont's Ski Areas Shut Down
Montpelier, VT Sunday, March 15, 2020 -- As the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation has been quickly evolving over the past 72 hours, the majority of Vermont’s ski areas have closed for the season or have shut down operations either indefinitely or for a period of time to reassess their operating plans.
The safety of ski area guests and employees is very important to all of us, and ski areas have been monitoring official updates from the state of Vermont, the Vermont Department of Health and the CDC, making difficult and appropriate decisions for their operations as this situation has been unfolding.
For the most up-to-date information on ski area operations, check your favorite ski area’s website or the snow conditions report at SkiVermont.com, which features date and time-stamped updates directly from the ski areas.
