About the Quechee Club

The Quechee Lakes community is made up of individuals who own a home site, a completed home or condominium; such ownership automatically confers membership in The Quechee Club. The members own and control all the amenities at Quechee Lakes. In February 1970, the Quechee Lakes Landowners’ Association, Inc. (QLLA) was formed to “hold, manage, regulate and maintain” the common land and amenities of the Quechee Development. In May of 1974, the construction of The Clubhouse was finished. This core facility encompasses a multipurpose banquet room and an attractive Grille Room. Also located at this facility: an indoor lap pool, outdoor swimming pool, squash court, health club complete with cardiovascular and circuit training equipment, sauna and locker rooms. The Golf Shop occupies the west end of The Clubhouse and commands sweeping views of the courses. The administrative offices of QLLA are also located in The Clubhouse. The Base Lodge, Tennis Pavilion and Murphy Farm round out the association’s buildings. Quechee Lakes Landowners have, through their Association, developed Vermont’s finest four season community. Everything you want for your vacation - be it spring, summer, fall or winter - can be found at Quechee Lakes.

Murphy's TavernCasualOver the years Murphy’s Farm has been affectionately called Whittlesey-Newton Farm, Gilson Farm, Sybilholme Farm, and Merrydale Farm. At one time the property stretched two hundred acres and is said to be the second oldest house in the valley, dating from 1780. In 1989, QLLA began renovations in an effort to restore this beloved farmhouse back to its original beauty. Today, Murphy’s Farm is host to many and also offers a traditional Quechee venue for a variety of events. Recently renovated, The Tavern renders a quaint, casual atmosphere, showcasing a new custom crafted bar and roaring fireplace. Thanks to the hard work and effort of generations passed, the endless opportunities to enjoy this unique Vermont farmhouse has been made possible for its many visitors. This is a true testament to the Quechee Community. Join us December through the March, as Chef Morgan serves a menu sure to satisfy any appetite. From pizza night and pot-o-pasta specials to seafood themed events with accompaniments for vegetarian options and lighter fare, you won't be left out in the cold. Come on in, relax in front of the roaring fire and delight all your senses. Reservations are not required and The Tavern is extremely child-friendly.View Website | View Menu, , VT (802) 295-9356
