Nordic and backcountry skiing are hallmarks of Bolton Resort. The highest elevation of Vermont's cross-country ski areas ensures great snow, usually from early November well into April. With over 100 km of Nordic trails, Bolton is considered by many to be the 'best backcountry in Vermont'. The extensive trail system offers great scenic views for all abilities.

The Nordic Center offers both Classic and Skate skiing lessons as well as guided tours and ski clinics throughout the winter season. Snowshoeing is another popular activity that we offer at Bolton Valley. Using only the best in rentals, Tubbs Snowshoes, and poles we've got you taken care of. Nordic ski and snowshoe packages with lodging are available.
